189.2 million people i.e. 14% of our population is undernourished

20% of children under 5 are underweight

34.7% of children under 5 years of age are stunted

51.4% of women in the reproductive age (15-49 years) are anemic

Due to the pandemic hitting hard, many people lost their jobs due to company shutdowns, lay-offs, lockdowns, and many more reasons. Dr. Haresh Mirani who reunited with his school friend a few years ago happened to be a god’s way of conveying him a message to help the needy. Mr. Kashiram Jashnani, a good friend, proud Indian, and social worker helped our founder to learn about the growing hunger problem in Nashik, Maharashtra. With Mr. Jashnani’s efforts and will, Mirani Foundation was able to help more than 25+ families by providing them basic food items, a bed, and a wheelchair to Puj Sindhi Panchayat, Deolali Camp Nashik Maharashtra. 

Mirani Foundation has just begun and has received requests from various social activists and organizations from different parts of India for helping marginalized communities.
